My Cousin Stepmother - Original Writing Essay - 958 Words

â€Å"You can’t let people buried you, you got to become bigger and better than them† is what the person I interviewed told me. Her parents had to fight for her right to be the valedictorian. Around the 1970s, Patricia was one of the few people graduated college. She grew up hearing things like â€Å"nigger’s go home,† or â€Å"you’re not educated enough.† Negative words like that werenShow MoreRelatedBrothers Grimm Fairytales 1741 Words   |  7 Pagesa happy ever after ending and start with â€Å"Once upon a time†.
